Why choose to work in Human Resources and why in a company like Innovery?

Caring for people, without ever neglecting their well-being, has always been a source of great pride for me. Every human being, whatever the reason he or she enters our lives, always leaves behind something intangible but, at the same time, of great worth and uniqueness. Thanks to this job, opportunities, professional but especially personal growth, are conveyed. What I hope and wish for my formidable colleagues every day is to be always able to grasp the great value of each individual and be able to listen, never leaving anything to chance. 

As one of my dearest professors used to say, “Choose the job you love, and you won’t work a single day of your life“. A few simple words that enclose a great truth, and on the basis of these, I can say today, with extreme gratitude, that I feel privileged for the opportunity that has arisen for me to become part of a great family, which is how I like to define Innovery’s, where the singularity of each person is never read as something taken for granted but, on the contrary, the primary and essential interest for the future of our company. We understood all that even before we started talking about “People and Culture” and “wellbeing,” employee wellbeing meant at 360 degrees. 

A company like Innovery that is constantly growing and evolving, and this was certainly the driving force behind my choice, the possibility of being able to experience that perfect combination that is created between human resources and the IT department. In fact, the topic of Cybersecurity may seem, at first glance, to be of exclusive relevance to the IT department; yet, the HR department can contribute significantly to the security of the entire organization. In fact, in any business reality, it represents the first repository of sensible data attractive for cyber criminals, starting with the information made available during the pre-employment phase (just consider the data contained in our CVs), and identifying promptly the risk components and the possible strategies to implement, all this represents an activity of extreme importance. 

Moreover, the first danger to get around lies precisely in the very common idea that there are only a few functions that could be involved in hypothetical cyber attacks. In this sense, the HR task is precisely to raise awareness among the entire corporate population. 

In other words, leaving out the enthusiasm that has not left me for a moment since I came on board, I consider this wonderful opportunity and, why not, also an extraordinary challenge, a starting point and not an ending point. Challenge against my own limits, which I hope to always accept and never stop trying to overcome. 

You know, by yourself you can be strong, but in a team you become invincible and that is why I will never stop being grateful for coming across along my path with wonderful people who I consider to have been my greatest richness. 

I hope to never lose my grit and to have always wonderful people beside me who will contribute to my growth, just like those I have met until now!
